Tatou Armor soft panels are available in all standard military and law enforcement formats. Each cut is optimized for a specific carrier geometry and mission profile — from full-coverage patrol to minimal-profile covert operations.
Standard Sizes
10 × 12 in
The most common soft armor format. Fits the majority of plate carriers and soft armor carriers on the market. Ideal for patrol, tactical, and duty applications.
11 × 14 in
Extended front and back coverage for maximum torso protection. Preferred for high-risk patrol, corrections, and static security roles where mobility is secondary to coverage.
Cut Profiles
SAPI Cut
The NATO/US military standard cut. Rectangular body with slightly angled upper corners. Compatible with all SAPI/ESAPI plate carrier pockets. The default format for most military and LE carriers.
Shooter Cut
Aggressive angled upper corners provide maximum shoulder and arm range of motion. Preferred by operators who need unrestricted rifle shouldering and movement. Slightly reduced upper chest coverage vs. SAPI.
Swimmer Cut
Deeply curved upper corners for maximum shoulder freedom. Originally designed for maritime and amphibious operations. Lightest and most mobile cut — ideal for high-activity roles where full coverage is traded for agility.
Side Armor Cuts — C1 to C5
Side armor panels are available in five standardized cut profiles (C1 through C5), each optimized for a specific cummerbund geometry and coverage requirement. All cuts are compatible with standard cummerbund side pockets.

The Tatou Armor concealed ballistic vest is designed for plainclothes officers, executive protection, and discreet security operations. The slim carrier accepts NIJ IIIA soft panels and is worn comfortably under civilian clothing. Lightweight, breathable, and invisible under a dress shirt or jacket.

The AllGuard Flex is a Canadian-manufactured hybrid panel combining ballistic and stab protection in a single flexible insert. Independently tested at Oregon Ballistic Laboratories (OBL) against NIJ IIIA / HG2 ballistic performance requirements and Spike Level 1 stab requirements. Designed for law enforcement, corrections, and security professionals requiring dual-threat protection.
