NIJ 0101.06 → NIJ 0101.07 reference guide
NIJ 0101.07 (Standard 0123.00) replaces legacy level designations with RF (Rifle-Face) ratings. RF1 and RF3 are the closest equivalents to legacy III and IV. RF2 is a new intermediate level with no direct legacy counterpart.
Note: individual product certification is per-model. A product certified under NIJ 0101.06 is not automatically certified under NIJ 0101.07 — these are separate certification programs.
